Kayaking
Lowell Point is the starting point for many kayaking tours within Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park, from short half-day tours to multi-day kayak camping tours.

Hiking
The trails in the Seward area are unparalleled. Whether you’re in the mood for a short jaunt out to a secluded beach, or an all-day trek up to the top of an icefield, there’s something here for you. Check at the National Park or the National Forest offices for more information on area trails.

Kenai Fjords National Park
Seward is the Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, and there are several different ways to see it. Take a boat tour from the Seward small boat harbor, and catch a glimpse of a calving tidewater glacier, in addition to marine and terrestrial wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, mountain goats, bears, puffins and bald eagles. Alaska Sea Life Center
